In which states has the installment been released?
According to reports, the 21st installment has been credited to farmers’ accounts in some disaster-affected states, such as Punjab, Haryana, and Jammu and Kashmir. These states recently suffered losses due to heavy rains and natural disasters, which prompted the government to release payments there first. However, millions of farmers in other states across the country are still awaiting the next installment.
Why the Expectation of Installment Release Has Increased
With the beginning of November and the first phase of voting for the Bihar Assembly elections scheduled for November 6th, there is hope that the Central Government may release the installment soon. It is generally believed that the government may release the installment to provide relief to farmers in the election environment. However, it is important to clarify that no official date has been announced by the Central Government yet, so it would be premature to say that farmers will receive the money today or tomorrow.
When Can the Payment Be Received?
According to the latest updates, the payment is expected to be made in the first week of November 2025. This has raised hopes among farmers that the amount of Rs. 2,000 will soon be credited to their accounts. Previously, the government has released installments within the stipulated timeframe several times, so there is confidence about the November installment.
E-KYC Required to Receive Installment
Under the PM Kisan Yojana, funds are only available to beneficiaries who have completed their e-KYC. Without e-KYC, money transfers are stopped. Therefore, farmers should complete their e-KYC as soon as possible to avoid payment delays.
