Tulsi Vivah Method
- First, you need to set up a sugarcane pavilion.
- Decorate the Tulsi pot.
- Begin the Tulsi Vivah puja in the auspicious time in the evening.
- Establish a wooden platform and sprinkle Ganga water on it.
- Follow this: fill the Kalash with holy water, place mango leaves on it, and place it at the place of worship.
- After that, place Tulsi Ji on one seat and Shaligram Ji on the other.
- Sprinkle Ganga water on Tulsi and Shaligram Ji and bathe them.
- Offer yellow flowers, clothes, and feathers to Lord Shaligram. Apply a yellow sandalwood tilak.
- Upgrade Tulsi Mata with fruits, flowers, a red scarf, a bindi, and her full makeup. Apply a red sandalwood tilak to her.
- After that, light incense sticks and a ghee lamp.
- After doing all this, you should take the Shaligram idol in your hands and perform a parikrama around it along with Tulsi.
- After this, perform aarti of Tulsi and Shaligram with devotion.
- Then, offer sweets and recite Vishnu Sahasranaam or Tulsi Chalisa. Finally, remember to pray for forgiveness.
