PM Kisan: Significant and comforting news is emerging for millions of farmers across the country. The wait for the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme may soon be over. According to media reports, the much-anticipated sum of Rs 2,000 could be transferred to farmers’ bank accounts as early as the first week of November. This news could bring significant relief to farmers after the festive season.

While no official date has been announced by the government yet, this is merely a tentative deadline being discussed. However, this buzz has sounded a warning bell for farmers who haven’t yet completed their registration or eKYC. The government’s stance is clear: only those who meet all the criteria will benefit from the scheme. Therefore, if you want the next installment to reach your account without any interruptions, it would be wise to complete all the necessary procedures in time.

The government’s intention is to ensure that the benefits of this scheme reach every eligible farmer, but with complete transparency. This is why eKYC has been made mandatory. This process ensures that funds are being transferred to the correct beneficiary’s bank account and that no fraudulent transactions occur. The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is now completely technology-based. It has become one of the largest Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) schemes in the world.

This simply means that the money comes directly from the central government to your bank account, without any middlemen or office visits. However, this is only possible if the information entered in your bank account, Aadhaar card, and on the PM Kisan portal is accurate and linked. If you haven’t completed eKYC, the system will technically be unable to transfer the money to your account. Similarly, new farmers who wish to join this scheme should register immediately, lest the installment release deadline be missed by the time they apply.

These farmers will not get Rs 2,000 each in the 21st installment

If you have not completed the tasks mentioned below, then this time the installment will not be credited to your account.

  • First of all, if you have not completed e-KYC.
  • If your Aadhaar number is not linked to your bank account.
  • The bank account has an incorrect IFSC code or account number.
  • The bank account has been closed.
  • If there is any mistake in your name or other details, you will get the money for the next installment only after these problems are rectified
