Now you see the details of change in the automobile world have intensified and every company is now focusing on alternate-fuel vehicles. In this episode, Suzuki caught everyone’s attention with his innovative idea at Japan Mobility Show 2025.
This year the company introduced not only cars, but also two special scooter prototypes, one Hydrogen-powered Burgman 400 and the other CNG-powered Suzuki Access. The special thing is that Access CNG is being considered highly practical for markets like India.

Design
The same externally looks like its regular petrol model in watching Suzuki Access CNG. It has the same LED headlamp with chrome bezel, digital instrument console, and flat footboard design. Small storage space (cubbyholes) is also present behind the fairing of the scooter, making it easier to keep essential accessories.

However, since the CNG tank is placed under the seat, it no longer contains underseat storage space. According to the company, this modification has increased the total weight of the scooter by about 10%, but will have little effect on its performance or balance.
Engine
Also, Telli’s Suzuki has featured its Access scooter in a new avatar this time, using both Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Compressed Biomethane Gas (CBG). This scooter is not only fuel-saving, but will also prove to be much better for the environment.
It features a 6-liter CNG tank fitted under the seat, as well as a 2-liter petrol tank. That is, you can use either petrol and CNG if needed. Suzuki claims that this scooter gives a spectacular range of about 170 kilometers.
However, its weight has increased by about 10% due to the CNG kit, but despite this the balance and performance of the scooter remains superb.

Efficiency
Suzuki’s move clearly shows how serious she is about eco-friendly mobility. The use of clean fuel technologies like CNG and CBG not only reduces carbon emissions, but it also ensures low running cost for customers. Especially in the Indian market, where fuel prices are steadily rising, a CNG scooter can become a spectacular and economical option.
Launch
However Suzuki featured it as a prototype at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. That is, it is currently in testing and development phase. It is expected that the company can launch it in the Indian market by late 2025 or early 2026.
