The new Panigale V2 model features an all-new engine that produces a whopping 120 hp of power at 10,750 rpm and a robust torque of 93.3 Nm at 8,250 rpm. This update makes it faster, smoother, and race-track-ready. Weighing just 175 kg (dry weight), the V2 S is the lightest bike in the Panigale lineup to date. The standard version weighs 179 kg, further improving its power-to-weight ratio.

Advanced Frame and Suspension

Ducati has used a lightweight monocoque frame in this model, while the design features a double-sided swingarm inspired by the Panigale V4. The standard variant features adjustable Marzocchi front forks and a Kayaba monoshock, while the V2 S features a premium Ohlins suspension unit, providing greater stability, superior handling, and excellent control during high-speed riding.

High-End Electronics and Riding Modes

Both models come with a number of riding aids based on a six-axis IMU unit. These include cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and a bi-directional quickshifter. Notably, the V2 S also comes standard with launch control and a pit limiter, making it even more appealing for track-focused riders. A 5-inch TFT display and four riding modes – Race, Sport, Road, and Wet – make it suitable for all riding conditions.

Braking and Tire Setup

Brambing is handled by Brembo’s high-performance M50 monoblock calipers. They are shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 high-grip tires, which contribute significantly to straight-line stability, cornering, and braking performance. This combination gives the rider great confidence even at full speed.
