The Honda Rebel 500 features a 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine connected to a 6-speed gearbox. It generates power of 45.5 bhp and torque of 43.3 Nm.
If you compare it to the Royal Enfield Bullet 350, it is a much more powerful bike than that, because the bullet only gets a 350cc engine. The Rebel 500’s engine is particularly tuned for low and mid-range torque delivery, giving it great performance on both city traffic and highways.
Design
However, the Rebel 500’s design is extremely bold and classic. It features tubular steel frames, telescopic front forks, and dual Shova shock absorbers, giving it a smooth riding experience. Also, the Rebel 500 has a starting price of $ 6,799 (about ₹5.98 lakhs) in the international market, while its SE variant comes in at $ 6,999 (about ₹6.15 lakhs).
At the same time, its current price ₹5.49 lakh (ex-showroom) has been kept in the Indian market. This cruiser is considered one of the most stylish and refined bikes in the segment in this price range.
