Tejashwi Yadav files nomination from Raghopur, breaks silence on contesting separately

New Delhi: The heat of the Bihar Assembly elections is steadily rising. The nomination process for the first phase is progressing rapidly. Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav filed his nomination papers today from the Raghopur constituency, contesting for the third time from here. RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav was also present during the meeting.

Tejashwi Yadav contested and won the assembly elections in 2015 and 2020. If he wins from Raghopur this time, he will achieve a hat-trick. This seat has been a stronghold of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family. The RJD supremo himself has won elections from here. Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav has also broken his silence on contesting from two constituencies. Read what he said below.

Tejashwi Yadav made a significant statement.

After filing his nomination papers from Raghopur, Tejashwi Yadav made a major announcement. He said, “The people of Raghopur have trusted me twice in a row. The people are my masters; I have filed my nomination from Raghopur for the third time.” He said, “I have full confidence that the people of Raghopur will trust us.” He further stated, “We resolve to ensure that every family member has a government job.”

We must eradicate unemployment. We must take Bihar forward. We need a government that provides education, medicine, income, irrigation, hearing, and action.” Tejashwi Yadav stated, “We not only want to form a government, but also work to build Bihar. People are fed up with corruption and crime; Bihar now wants to be corruption- and crime-free.”

RJD stalwarts were present

RJD stalwarts were present during Tejashwi Yadav’s nomination from the Raghopur Assembly constituency. Former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, former CM Rabri Devi, MP Misha Bharti, Sanjay Yadav, along with several MLAs, MLCs, and a large number of RJD workers, were present.

Elections to be held in two phases

For information, the Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases. Voting for the first phase will be held on November 6th and the second phase on November 11th. Counting will take place on November 14, 2025. All political parties within the NDA and the Grand Alliance are currently in a state of confusion. Debates and arguments are ongoing.
