Monsoon Forecast: With temperatures dropping across Delhi-NCR and North India, winter has begun. Children and the elderly have begun wearing warm clothing in the morning and evening. Snowfall is occurring in the hilly areas, bringing cold winds to the plains. Temperatures may drop further in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Kashmir. Rain fell in some parts of South India this morning, bringing pleasant weather. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for various states across the country. Heavy Rain in These States
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the rainy season may begin in Odisha, Kerala, and Mahe. In addition, rain has been predicted in Assam, Meghalaya, and Tamil Nadu. The IMD has also predicted rain in several areas of Puducherry and Karaikal, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam. Rainfall is expected in several areas of the Nicobar Islands, Telangana, and South Interior Karnataka.
Due to the possibility of lightning, people have been urged to stay indoors. Winds of up to 40 kilometres per hour are expected, along with lightning. Rain is also expected in Konkan, Goa, and Maharashtra.
How will the weather be in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar?
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is not expected in most areas of North India. Clear weather is predicted. Dry weather is expected in some areas of Uttar Pradesh, with no rain forecast. Cold temperatures may increase in the morning and evening. Rain is also not expected in Bihar.
The weather is expected to remain humid. Temperatures may drop in the plains of Uttarakhand, increasing the cold. Snowfall is possible in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh at night. Sunny skies are expected throughout the day. Clear weather is also expected in Jammu and Kashmir.
