Paying traffic challans in Gurugram is now a simple and digital process. Drivers no longer need to visit the traffic police office or court to pay their challans. The city’s traffic police have decided to install QR code-based kiosk machines to make the challan payment process faster and more convenient.

pay Challan through QR code

Initially, this kiosk machine has been installed at the city’s largest and busiest Ambience Mall. This initiative marks the first time in the country that traffic challan payments are made available via QR code. The aim is to make the payment process simple, fast, and user-friendly. Using this kiosk is extremely easy. Drivers enter their vehicle number or challan number, and a QR code will appear on the machine screen. Scanning it with a mobile phone will instantly process the challan. The entire process is as simple and straightforward as an ATM machine, and anyone can easily use it without any technical knowledge.

Pay challan any time

The special thing is that this kiosk will be open 24 hours a day. This means that people can pay their challan at any time of the day or night, as per their convenience. Installing it in a busy place like a mall is also beneficial because visitors can pay their challan while shopping, saving time. However, the traffic police have clarified that challans sent to court cannot be paid through this kiosk at this time.

Previously, drivers had to go to the traffic police office or court to pay their challan. This was time-consuming and labor-intensive, often requiring standing in long queues. QR code kiosks address this problem, making challan payment fast, transparent, and convenient.
