UP Monsoon Alert: Like other states, heavy rains are falling in Uttar Pradesh as well. While the rain has given relief to people from the sticky heat, drivers are facing problems due to waterlogging on the roads in some places. It has been drizzling in Rampur and Moradabad since last night, due to which the temperature level has come down considerably.

It is also raining in eastern UP with thunder, due to which the temperature has dropped. Even now, movement of clouds is being seen in many areas of UP. Not only this, but heavy rain is also occurring in some places. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain with thunder in various areas of Uttar Pradesh. Rain with thunder in these districts

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Agra, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi and Lalitpur. Lightning may also strike here. IMD has predicted heavy rains in Fatehpur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj and Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar. Apart from these, rains with thunder and lightning have been predicted in Unnao, Saharanpur and Hardoi.

Rain is also predicted in Banda, Chitrakoot, Shamli, Mathura, Muzaffarnagar, Aligarh and Hathras. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rains in Kasganj, Etah, Firozabad, Mainpuri and Etawah districts. People have been asked to be cautious here.

IMD has predicted heavy rains in Auraiya, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad and Rampur. Apart from these, rains are predicted in Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun and adjoining areas. Rains are expected in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Farrukhabad, and Kannauj.

According to meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh, light to moderate rain is expected at many places in the state and heavy rain at some places during the next two days. Very heavy rain is expected in western Uttar Pradesh on 29th July.
