Ration Card– Big news for Ration Card holders. The Government of India provides free ration and ration at a lower price to such people under the National Food Security Act. To avail the benefits of this, people must have a ration card. People who do not have a ration card are not able to avail the benefits.
Some important updates and procedures have to be done in the ration card with time. Many people ignore it. And later get troubled. At the same time, there is an important procedure in it which becomes necessary for you to get it done every 5 years. If this work is not done on time, there can be loss. Let us tell you that every few years, card holders have to submit their identity card and other information again in the ration card. So that fake beneficiaries can be removed from the system.
For this, the government has decided that it is necessary for every ration card holder to get KYC done within five years. In this, Aadhaar card, mobile number, address and information of family members have to be re-entered. If this process is not completed, the card can be temporarily blocked or even cancelled.
Many people think that if they have a card, they will always be able to take advantage of it. But if you do not get your KYC done on time, your name may be deleted. Due to which your benefits under government schemes may stop.
You can do this by visiting the nearest ration center, CSC center or online portal. If you have not done KYC in ration card till now, then get it done as soon as possible. Otherwise you may have to face problems.
