Ladli Behna Yojana April Installment: Sisters may Get ₹ 1,000 Before Ramnavami

Ladli Behna Yojana (2)

Great news has come out for the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, one of the most popular schemes of Madhya Pradesh. The month of April has started, and now the sisters are eagerly waiting for the 23rd installment.

Usually, the installment of this scheme is released on the 10th of every month. However, given the festivals, many times, the installment is released even before the scheduled date. So let us know when the Ladli sisters can get the 23rd installment in April.

You can get a gift on Navratri

It is expected that given the auspicious occasion of Navratri,Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s government can transfer the 23rd installment before the scheduled time. Durgashtami is on 5 April and Ramnavami is on 6 April. However,no official announcement has been made by the government yet.

Earlier, the 11th installment was transferred on April 5 on the occasion of Gudi Padwa last year. If the installment is not released on the occasion of Navratri, then the sisters will have to wait for April 10. It will be interesting to see if the government gives this gift to the sisters in advance in the joy of festivals.

Will the installment of Ladli Bahana increase

During the assembly budget session,Congress MLA Pratap Grewal raised the question of whether the government would start registration again. Along with this,he had also urged to fulfill the promise of giving an amount of ₹ 3,000.

Responding to this,Women and Child Development Minister Nirmala Bhuria clarified that at present there is no proposal at the department level to increase the amount of Ladli Bahana Yojana and add the names of new Ladli sisters. This may disappoint those women who were waiting for the installment to increase or new names to be added to the scheme.

So many beneficiaries became ineligible, and so many sisters died tragically

So far only 35 women have been declared ineligible in the Ladli Behna Yojana. At the same time,a total of 15,735 women have died tragically since the inception of the scheme. Not a single new name of a woman has been added to the Ladli Behna Yojana since November 2023. This figure shows the number of beneficiaries of the scheme and their current status.
