The upcoming Vivo V80 FE has been spotted on Geekbench. This model (V2624) is running with an 8GB RAM MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo chip. One of the strongest signs that this will be launching in India is the fact that it has been added to the BIS certification database. However, we have no official word on when or how much it will cost. Here is what the leaks and filings tell us so far.
Geekbench Benchmark

This benchmark was uncovered by Anvin on X. The benchmark lists this phone as having the MediaTek MT6878 (Dimensity 7400-Turbo). Scoring just 911 points for single-core and between 3,040 and 3,120 for multi-core meaning this is mid-range phone. The listing shows there will be an 8GB RAM variant of this phone since there is 7.31GB available. This phone runs on Android 17. There will be two variants listed according to this listing. A 128GB and 256GB variant.
Specs and Performance
The most reliable listing we have is on Vivo’s Philippines website. This phone has a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 2750 x 1260 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It features the Dimensity 7400-Turbo chip with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 Storage. The phone has a 7000mAh battery with 90W wired charging, which can charge this phone to 50% in around 29 minutes. The camera has three 50MP ZEISS calibrated lenses. IP68/IP69 rated with In-display Optical Fingerprint Sensor, IR Blaster and NFC.
Compare with V80
The V80 FE sits below the V80. The main differences are the refresh rate and chipset. The V80 has a 144Hz screen with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 whereas the V80 FE has a 120Hz screen with the Dimensity 7400-Turbo. The phone has a large battery with the same 6.59 inch size. This could be a good choice if you want the same battery and camera style as the V80 but at a cheaper price.
Launch Date in India
There is still no confirmation of when this will launch in India. However, due to there being a BIS listing and the phone being run on Geekbench, it looks like this will be launching. It looks likely that this will be priced within the mid-range due to how it fits in with the V80 and V80 FE. However, we cannot confirm any prices until it is officially announced.

Should you wait?
If you are looking for a mid-range phone with a large battery, great camera and bright AMOLED screen then this could be a good phone to keep your eye out for. However, if you need a phone right away then look at what is currently available. When it is officially announced check how much it will cost compared to the V80 and similar phones in the same range.
