Yep Plus electric SUV:-The partnership between MG Motor and JSW aims to create a Maruti moment for electric four-wheelers in the country. This venture has announced that it will launch a new electric car every 3 to 6 months. Now it seems the company has started it. Actually, Chinese company Baojun has launched Yep Plus electric SUV in the Chinese market. Whose price is CNY 94K (about Rs 10.8 lakh).
The special thing is that this SUV has been built on the platform of MG Comet Electric sold in India.
Design and looks
This SUV gets a great offroad look due to the strong body cladding. Talking about its exterior, it includes floating roof, LED lighting, railing on the roof, a body panel between C and D pillars. It has 16-inch alloy wheels. Its ground clearance is 150mm. Yep Plus also gets disc brakes on all four corners.
Interior and exterior
Talking about the interior of Yep Plus, we can see a flat multilayer dashboard in dual-tone color scheme with soft-touch plastic and contrasting white stitching. Center console has been given like MG Comet EV. The steering is a 3-spoke unit with metallic accents. The center infotainment screen is a 10.1-inch and the instrument screen is an 8.8-inch unit. Both of these are free-standing screens. You will be able to buy it in 5 color options.

The 5-door model of Jeep Plus has a length of 3,996mm, width of 1,760mm and height of 1,726mm. Its wheelbase is 2,560mm long. Yep Plus is a 5-door model. It has 28 storage spaces. There is boot space with back seats and a boot space of 385 litres. The boot space can be expanded to 1715-litres after folding the back seats.
Engine and milage
The Yep Plus eSUV has a single 75 kW (100 bhp) and 180 Nm electric motor driving the front wheels. Its top speed is up to 150 km/h. This car gives a range of 401Km on a single charge. It has 4 driving modes Economy Plus, Economy, Standard and Sports. A dual-motor AWD variant may be added to it in the future.
