TATA SAFARI FACELIFT was launched last month. Tata Safari facelift will be offered in 4 trim levels including Smart Pure Adventure and Accomplished variants. Talking about color options, you will get a total of 7 color options in this vehicle which include Cosmic Gold, Galactic Sapphire, Lunar Slate, Oberon Black, Stellar Frost, Stardust Ash and Supernova Copper. Now it is the turn of petrol model.

Tata Motors gave a glimpse of its two all-new Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection (TGDI) engines during this year’s Auto Expo, which include 1.2 liter and 1.5 liter variants. The automaker also confirmed that the 1.2L petrol engine will make its debut in the upcoming Curve coupe SUV in 2024, while the 1.5L motor will power the Sierra, Safari and Harrier SUVs.

When will it be launched?

Both the engines comply with the stringent BS6 2.0 emission norms and are designed to run smoothly on 20 per cent petrol-ethanol (E20) fuel blend. The much-awaited Tata Safari petrol and Harrier petrol variants are expected to hit the roads next year.

TATA SAFARI FACELIFT ENGINE

The 2023 Tata Safari is available in only one diesel engine option. It has a 2.0-litre Kryotec engine, which is capable of generating 170PS and 350Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. It was speculated that it would be introduced with a new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine, but this did not happen.
