Nissan Magnite Facelift: Nissan Magnite was launched in the Indian market about four years ago in 2020. Currently this is the only product in the company’s portfolio in India. Recently, a test mule was spotted near Nissan’s factory in Chennai, which could be the facelifted version. Although it was largely covered, some major updates were still visible. So let us know about the main 5 changes in Nissan Magnite facelift.
New Alloy Wheels
Due to heavy coloring, not much information could be found about the front fascia or rear profile. However, in the spy image, the SUV was equipped with newly designed alloy wheels, which may also be included in the production-ready model to be launched in India by the end of 2024. The rest of the silhouette was similar to the existing model.
Electric Sunroof
The Nissan Magnite facelift may include many new features which are not in the existing model. In this, single-pane electric sunroof and ventilated front seats can be seen as standard in the top-end variants.
6-Airbag
Nissan may further improve the safety by providing 6-airbags as a standard feature in the facelifted version of Magnite. Many safety features have been provided in the current version of the SUV, which include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, hill start assist, electronic stability control and traction control.
More Powerful Engine
The Nissan Magnite is slightly less powerful compared to its rivals. However, Nissan is expected to further improve the competition by re-tuning the 1.0L naturally-aspirated and turbocharged engines to extract more power and torque from these engines.
High Profit
Currently, the 1.0L naturally-aspirated petrol engine returns a mileage of 20kmpl, while the turbocharged unit returns a mileage of 17.4kmpl. In the 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift, both these engines can provide more mileage than the current mileage.
