The common man was troubled by the rising prices of LPG cylinders, but now he has got a big relief. The government has reduced the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. This deduction is applicable in all the cities of the country.
How much has the price been reduced?
Different cuts have been made in the prices of commercial LPG cylinders in different cities. The price of commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been reduced by Rs 30.50. This means that now commercial LPG cylinder will be available in Delhi for Rs 1764.50.

Similarly, the price cuts in other cities are as follows:
Mumbai: Rs 31.50 (New price: Rs 1717.50)
Kolkata: Rs 32 (New price: Rs 1797)
Chennai: Rs 31.50 (New price: Rs 1837)
There is no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. The price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder is still Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802 50 paise in Mumbai and Rs 818 50 paise in Chennai.
Reason behind the cut
The reduction in the prices of commercial LPG cylinders has been done due to the fall in LPG prices in the international market.
This reduction is a big relief for the common man. Now small restaurants, dhabas and other businesses will have to spend less money for LPG cylinders.
