HONDA ELEVATE: Honda has launched its popular SUV Elevate in the South African market. Its starting price here is R 369,900 (about Rs 15.92 lakh). It has been launched in two variants Comfort and Elegance.
PRICE
It has been launched in the same powertrain which is available in the Indian market. However, its price is much higher in South Africa compared to India. Its price in India starts from Rs 11.58 lakh. This represents a sales increase of R4.34 million in the African market.
ENGINE AND MILAGE
Elevate will be equipped with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder VTEC gasoline engine producing 121 PS power and 145 Nm torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or CVT automatic transmission. As it rises, its price will also be higher because the company built it after the fifth generation of urban architecture. Elevate’s mileage is around 16 to 17 kilometers per liter.
FEATURES
The Base model SV trim will come standard with features like dual front airbags, 16-inch steel wheels, LED projector headlights, LED taillights, push-button engine start/stop, automatic air conditioning system, beige cloth interior and more. The updated Honda Elevate V will come with better features than the SV.
