The special thing is that French celebrity musician and artist Jean-Michel Jarre flew as the first passenger in a flying car. It all happened in Slovakia, where the musician enjoyed flying in a flying car with Stefan Klein, chairman of Klein Vision.
Klein Vision first showed the prototype of this flying car at Nitra Airport in Slovakia in 2019. A few days later, it was introduced to the public in Shanghai, China. There are many companies in the world which are making flying cars but for the first time, Klein Vision has earned a big name by traveling with a passenger. After this the company has also received many orders.
Car flew 2500 feet high
Jean-Michel flew to Piestany International Airport in Slovakia on two separate flights. He traveled with Stephen, Chairman of Klein Vision, in his flying car to an altitude of 2500 feet. As soon as the car starts turning, it rapidly takes the form of a flying car and its size becomes slightly smaller than the flying car version.
Features of flying car
This flying car is a 2 seater and can seat only two people. The Transport Authority of Slovakia has also given it permission to fly. This flying car has features like retractable wing, folding tail surface and parachute. The company said that it has done more than 500 takeoffs and landings so far.
Top speed of 189 kmph
This is the only flying car of Klein Vision which is certified to fly and this car has a 1.6 liter BMW engine which provides power to it. Its top speed is 189 km per hour. In 2023, Aleph Aeronautics’ Model A flying car has received such a certificate from the US Federal Aviation Administration.
