Tata Aeris: Tata Motors has revamped its compact sedan lineup by relaunching the older Tigor under the new name ‘Tata Aeris’. Its ex-showroom prices start at ₹5.29 lakh. The company has positioned it to compete with models like the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Honda Amaze. The Tata Aeris is available in Smart, Pure, Pure+, Creative, and Accomplished variants. Tata Aeris Smart

The ‘Smart’ is the base variant of the Tata Aeris. Despite its lower price point, Tata has packed it with essential features and safety equipment. It comes equipped with 14-inch steel wheels, tilt steering, rear seat headrests, and a 5-inch digital instrument cluster.

For safety, it includes ABS with EBD and CSC, six airbags, seatbelt reminders for all seats, and rear parking sensors.

The Smart variant is available exclusively in petrol-MT and CNG-MT configurations. The ex-showroom price is ₹5,29,990 for the petrol-MT and ₹6,29,990 for the CNG-MT. Petrol-AMT and CNG-AMT options are not available for this variant.

Tata Aeris Pure

The ‘Pure’ variant offers a few more features than the Smart variant. It includes a 5-inch digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and two speakers. It also features steering-mounted audio controls and power windows for both the front and rear.

Additionally, it comes with features such as 15W USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports, electrically adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators, speed-sensitive auto door locks, follow-me-home headlamps, and central locking with a flip key. The price of the Pure variant is ₹614,990 for the Petrol-MT, ₹669,990 for the Petrol-AMT, ₹714,990 for the CNG-MT, and ₹769,990 for the CNG-AMT.

Tata Aeris Pure+

The Pure+ variant offers an enhanced feature list compared to the base model. It comes equipped with 15-inch alloy-style steel wheels with wheel caps for the petrol version and 14-inch ones for the CNG version. It also features a GPS-integrated shark-fin antenna.

A major highlight of this variant is the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes 65W USB Type-C ports and a vanity mirror for the front passenger.

In terms of comfort, it offers a front centre armrest with storage, rear AC vents, and a rear centre armrest with cupholders. Safety features include ESP with traction control, TPMS, hill hold control, and an HD reverse parking camera. Cruise control is also available, though this feature is absent in the CNG-AMT configuration. The price of the Pure+ variant ranges from ₹674,990 to ₹829,990.

Tata Aeris Creative

Next is the Creative variant, which receives significant upgrades in both design and technology. Convenience features include an auto-headlamp function, auto-folding ORVMs, passive keyless entry, a start-stop button, and a one-touch driver-side window. It also comes with a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system.

Additionally, it offers features such as rain-sensing wipers, a cooled glovebox, two tweeters, and automatic climate control. For safety, it includes a 360-degree camera, which can be very helpful while parking.

Tata Aeris Accomplished

The ‘Accomplished’ is the top-spec variant of the Aeris, offering the most premium features. It comes equipped with ventilated front seats, adjustable headrests, and leatherette upholstery. Rear passengers get access to a 65W USB Type-C port and a USB charger.

The cabin features iToggle window controls, a dual smartphone deck, and a wireless charger. Furthermore, it offers over 35 connected car functions. This variant stands out with its exclusive dual-tone roof and chrome garnish along the waistline. It also includes LED fog lamps and a dashcam.
