WPL Auction 2026 live streaming: These players have the most expensive price tag

The stage is set for the fourth season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL). The mega auction is scheduled for November 27th, just a few hours from now. All five teams will enter the auction with their own strategies to build a strong squad. This auction, scheduled for November 27th in Delhi, could prove to be a major turning point in the careers of many young players. 277 players will be bidding, but the five teams have only 73 available slots. This will make the competition quite interesting.

WPL Auction 2026 live streaming details

The WPL Mega Auction is being organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It will begin at 3:30 PM IST at Aerocity in New Delhi. 277 women cricketers have been shortlisted for the auction. Of these, 194 are Indian players, while 66 are foreign players. This time, 159 uncapped players, meaning those who have not yet played an international match, will also be eligible for the auction. Only 73 slots are available across the five teams, from which 50 Indian and 23 foreign players can be selected.

A total of 17 players have been retained by the five teams. These include Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, Shafali Verma, Richa Ghosh, Jemimah Rodriguez, and Amanjot Kaur. Several foreign players have also been the teams’ first choices.

Each team initially had ₹15 crore (150 million rupees), but after retention, their total balances vary. UP Warriors have the highest balance of ₹14.50 crore (145 million rupees). Gujarat Giants, second in the standings, have ₹9 crore (90 million rupees), while MI, DC, and RCB all have less than ₹65 million (65 million rupees).

Expensive price tag in auction

Six marquee players have a base price of ₹5 million, while Renuka Singh has set her base price at ₹4 million and Laura Wolvaardt has set her base price at ₹3 million. Nineteen players in the auction have a base price of ₹5 million, ₹4 million for 11 players, ₹3 million for 88 players, and ₹10 million and ₹2 million for the remaining players.
