Ravindra Jadeja did it again. He took the wicket when Team India was looking for it the most, and that too in the form of dangerous batsman Aiden Markram. An unplayable delivery from Jadeja sent him back to the pavilion by knocking down the stumps—clean bowled.

Jadeja delivered a magical delivery

After the Kolkata Test, South Africa has been dominating in the ongoing Guwahati Test as well. They are already way ahead of the home team. To restrict their batter from scoring more runs, India have to take wickets as quickly as possible.

In the second innings of South Africa in the Guwahati Test match, Ravindra Jadeja bowled Adam Markram with his mysterious delivery. This delivery of Jadeja was so dangerous that the batsman was left posing and the ball missed the bat and hit the stumps. Anil Kumble, who was commentating, was also surprised to see this delivery of Jadeja and could not stop praising Jadeja. Kumble termed this delivery as “unplayable”. Markram played an innings of 29 runs off 84 balls.

A good length delivery from Jadeja landed on the middle stump and went outside off. Markram went to defend the ball but missed its line. The ball missed the bat and hit the top of the off stump. Markram remained posing in his defensive stance, while Jadeja, on the other hand, was seen celebrating his wicket.

It’s worth noting that Jadeja has bowled to Markram in four innings in Tests and has dismissed him three times. In the second innings, Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton shared a 59-run opening stand. Markram and Rickelton have joined the list of batsmen who have made 50-plus opening stands in both innings of a Test match for South Africa in India.
