Pakistan A team bowlers face the wrath of Vaibhav Suryavanshi

Even though India had to face defeat from Pakistan, but young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi won the hearts of the fans with his batting. Vaibhav played an inning of 45 runs in 28 balls and stunned the Pakistani bowlers. It is good that Suryavanshi could not stay on the crease for long, otherwise it is difficult to describe what this batsman would have done to the Pakistanis.

Suryavanshi exploded into the Asia Cup tournament earlier this week with a brilliant 144-run knock in India’s first match against the UAE. He continued his impressive form on Sunday, scoring 45 off 28 balls, including a four off the first ball of the innings. During this innings, he shared a 30-run opening stand with fellow opener Priyansh Arya and a 49-run second-wicket stand with Naman Dheer. India reached 50 for one at the end of the powerplay. He then added 12 more runs for the third wicket with Jitesh Sharma.

Suryavanshi’s aggressive play came to a halt on the last ball of the 10th over of the Indian innings when he was caught trying to hit a six towards long-on. Intending to hit the ball straight from Sufian Muqeem, Vaibhav shot in the air, but Mohammad Faiq took a composed catch. The third umpire spent several minutes checking whether the boundary cushion had moved, but after watching the replays several times, the decision stood and Suryavanshi was given out. Vaibhav was visibly disappointed by his dismissal and slammed his bat to the ground as he walked towards the dugout.
