The third ODI between India and New Zealand is being played at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bowl, inviting New Zealand to bat first. When New Zealand came out to bat, Indian fast bowler Harshit Rana performed a remarkable feat in the second over.

In fact, Harshit Rana came on for India to bowl the second over of New Zealand’s innings. He dealt New Zealand their second blow with the first ball of his first over, and the second of the match. Harshit had Devon Conway caught by Rohit Sharma at slip for 5 runs. With this, he completed a hat-trick of dismissals, dismissing Devon Conway three times in a row.
It should be noted that Harshit Rana dismissed Conway in the first ODI when he was batting on 56 off 67 balls. He then dismissed him in the second ODI when he was batting on 16. Now, by dismissing Conway for 5 runs in the third ODI, Harshit has completed a hat-trick of dismissals in ODI cricket.

It’s worth noting that after losing the toss, New Zealand opened the innings with Henry Nicholls and Devon Conway. Arshdeep Singh bowled the first over, dismissing Henry for a duck on the fourth ball. New Zealand have scored 27 runs for the loss of two wickets in six overs. Daryl Mitchell (5) and Will Young (16) are currently batting.
