The match was played at the Katunayake Sports Complex over three days, from August 25 to 27, 2020, between the Sri Lanka Army Sports Club and Saracens Sports Club. Saracens’ Reply
Batting next, Saracens Sports Club managed to score just 259 runs in their first innings. Despite being in a strong position, the Sri Lanka Army were not able to finish the match in the way they may have been anticipating. In their second innings, Saracens scored 76 runs for 5 wickets after 35 overs. The game ended without a winner, due to time constraints. Dinesh Chandimal was awarded Player of the Match for his spectacular, unbeaten 354-run innings.
