The fourth round of the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy began on November 8th. The first two days of matches have already seen several impressive innings. The Uttar Pradesh-Nagaland match, being played at Green Park in Kanpur, witnessed a similar scenario. In the first innings of this match, a bowler batting at number 8 for Uttar Pradesh scored a century. It was also remarkable that this player scored a century for the first time in his first-class career. He has been playing first-class cricket for the past seven years.

Uttar Pradesh’s innings also saw impressive knocks from Madhav Kaushik and Aryan Juyal. Aryan Juyal scored 140 runs off 205 balls, including 18 fours. Meanwhile, Madhav Kaushik remained unbeaten on 185 runs after facing 374 balls. Kaushik’s innings included 11 fours. Opener Abhishek Goswami also contributed 55 runs to give the team a solid start.
