Rohit Sharma needs only 41 runs to become the owner of this international record

The Indian cricket team is currently busy with the ODI series against South Africa. The 3-match ODI series started in Ranchi. While Virat Kohli scored a brilliant century in the first match, Rohit Sharma also scored a superb half-century. During this half-century innings, Rohit Sharma hit 3 brilliant sixes and broke Shahid Afridi’s world record of most sixes in ODIs.

Now the match between India and South Africa will be played on December 3 at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur. Rohit Sharma will have a great opportunity to create history in this match too.

Rohit on the verge of creating history

In fact, Rohit Sharma will achieve a major milestone as soon as he scores 41 runs in the second ODI against South Africa. If he succeeds in doing so, he will complete 20,000 runs in international cricket. This will join the club of legendary cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. So far, only three cricketers from India have been able to score more than 20,000 runs in international cricket. Apart from Sachin and Virat, Rahul Dravid’s name is also included in these. Rohit will become the 14th batsman in the world to cross the 20,000 run mark in international cricket.
