According to media reports, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) can trade Jadeja as well as Sam Curran in exchange of Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson before IPL 2026. Ravindra Jadeja’s first IPL team was Rajasthan Royals.

However, it is not yet clear whether Jadeja deactivated his account himself or if his account disappeared for some other reason.
Ravindra Jadeja played for Rajasthan Royals in 2008
Ravindra Jadeja played for the Rajasthan Royals in 2008 at the age of just 19. Rajasthan won its first title in the inaugural season. The team has not been crowned champion since. In 2010, Jadeja was banned for one year for violating contractual rules. Jadeja then joined the Chennai Super Kings in 2012 and became a key member of the team.
Jadeja got the captaincy of CSK during the IPL 2022 season
Ravindra Jadeja has played a key role in three of the five IPL titles won by Chennai Super Kings. He was also named CSK captain in 2022, but due to poor performance, he relinquished the captaincy mid-season. Jadeja was retained by CSK for IPL 2025 for ₹18 crore.
