Team India is ready to make a fresh start with the new year. The new year, 2026, is set to bring tremendous excitement for Indian cricket. The Indian men’s team will be seen participating in several major tournaments and series. At the beginning of the year, Team India will play a series of three ODIs and five T20Is against New Zealand, starting January 11, 2026.
Team India will attempt to create history at the T20 World Cup, scheduled for February-March 2026. India will aim to become the first team to defend its title in this tournament. The tournament will begin on February 7th, with the final scheduled for March 8th.
