Chutney Recipe: Quick & Delicious Tomato Sweet Chutney Recipe Perfect for Snacks, Note The Method

Chutney Making Tips: Chutney has its own charm in Indian food. And when it comes to sweet tomato chutney, what can be said? Be it children or adults, everyone keeps licking their fingers. This chutney is so amazing that it can be eaten in place of vegetables. Along with taste, it is also a treasure for health. Vitamin C and antioxidants are abundant in tomatoes, which benefit the body in many ways. So, let us learn today the easiest way to make this delicious and healthy sweet tomato chutney.

Ingredients:

Tomatoes: 500 grams
Jaggery or sugar: 100 grams
Cumin seeds: ½ teaspoon
Dry red chili: 2
Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon
Salt: according to taste
Cardamom powder: ¼ teaspoon
Fennel powder: ¼ teaspoon
Oil: 1 teaspoon

Method:

First, wash the tomatoes, cut them into small pieces and grind them finely in a mixer.
Now heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and red chilli, and fry it.

Add the ground tomato paste and mix well when the cumin seeds and red chilli are fried.

Add salt, mix it, cover the pan, and cook for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, add jaggery or sugar and keep stirring until the jaggery or sugar melts completely.

Now add cardamom powder and fennel powder and mix well.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes and then turn off the gas.

Let the chutney cool down, fill it in a clean and dry vessel, and keep it in the fridge.
