Engine
Maruti XL6 2025 is expected to come with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine which is now updated with hybrid technology for better efficiency. This K15C Smart Hybrid engine will generate 102 bhp and around 137 Nm of torque. It will be offered with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid motor will assist during low-speed drives to improve fuel savings and reduce emissions.
Mileage
The company claims the new hybrid setup in the 2025 XL6 can deliver better fuel efficiency than before. While the older model offered around 20.27 kmpl mileage in petrol variants, the upcoming version is expected to cross 22 kmpl mark in standard driving conditions. The hybrid system and idle start-stop feature will support mileage even in traffic.
Other Specifications
The new XL6 will continue with the same 3-row layout but may offer enhanced space and sliding middle-row captain seats. It will come with a larger infotainment touchscreen, 360-degree camera, wireless charger, automatic AC, ventilated seats, and advanced safety features like 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC and hill hold assist. The boot space remains sufficient for a family trip, and the ride quality will also be tuned for better comfort.
Price and Offer
The current XL6 is priced between ₹11.61 lakh to ₹14.77 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2025 model is likely to carry a slight price hike due to added features and hybrid tech. Expected starting price could be ₹12.50 lakh. Maruti may introduce limited-time launch offers or exchange bonuses to attract early buyers, especially in festive season.
Look and Design
Visually, the XL6 2025 will receive sharper LED headlamps, a revised front grille, sportier bumpers, and new alloy wheel design. The MPV will carry a more SUV-inspired look with premium chrome treatment and dual-tone exterior options. Interior theme may feature new dual-tone dashboard and soft-touch materials to increase the feel of luxury.
