Engine and Performance
Maruti Fronx 2025 will come with two petrol engine options. First is a 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine generating 89 bhp and 113 Nm torque. The second option is a 1.0-litre BoosterJet turbo petrol engine producing 100 bhp and 147 Nm torque. Both engines are BS6 Phase 2 and RDE-compliant. Transmission options will include 5-speed manual, AMT and 6-speed torque converter automatic. The performance is expected to be smooth and responsive, especially in city conditions.
Mileage
Maruti Fronx 2025 is expected to offer excellent fuel efficiency, which has been a strong point for Maruti vehicles. The 1.2-litre engine variant may deliver around 21.79 km/l mileage with the manual transmission and around 22.89 km/l with AMT. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol variant is expected to offer around 20 km/l. The real-world mileage may vary depending on driving habits and road conditions.
Other Specifications
The SUV will continue to be based on Suzuki’s Heartect platform. It comes with a 2,520 mm wheelbase and offers a boot space of 308 litres. Safety features include 6 airbags, 3-point seat belts for all seats, ESP, hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and rear parking camera. It will also offer 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps with DRLs, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, push-button start/stop, and cruise control. Top variants will get a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system.
Price and Offer
The Maruti Fronx 2025 is expected to start at an ex-showroom price of around ₹7.50 lakh and go up to ₹12.50 lakh for the top variant. There is no official launch offer yet, but it’s expected that exchange bonuses and loyalty benefits will be announced closer to launch. Booking may start by early 2025 with deliveries soon after.
Look and Design
The new Fronx 2025 will continue to showcase a bold coupe-SUV styling inspired by Maruti’s SUV family. The front gets a wide grille, split headlamp setup, and aggressive bumper design. It has a sloping roofline, roof rails, and chunky wheel arches that add to the sporty look. The rear features signature LED tail lamps with connected light bar. New dual-tone colour options are expected in the facelift.
