There is a possibility of a 3% increase in DA/DR from July.
If the 3% increase receives government approval, then the DA/DR of central employees and pensioners will increase to the current 58%.
The central government will take the final decision, and its official announcement is yet to be made.
The new DA rates will be considered effective from July 1; however, they are often announced in September or October.
When it is announced, the employees receive the arrears of the increase from July added to their salary for that month.
