The application process for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2026 is very simple. You can apply online through the official portal: kmy.gov.in.

First, you must create a user account on the official website.

Next, you need to keep scanned copies of your photograph (in JPG format, maximum size 300 KB) and your passport (in PDF format, maximum size 500 KB) ready.

You will then need to specify your preferred route and departure point (Delhi, Dharchula, or Gangtok).

Furthermore, if you wish to travel in the same batch, you can easily register up to two individuals using a single user account.

Know the Eligibility Criteria for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

To undertake this pilgrimage, you must fulfill certain eligibility criteria, which are strictly enforced. These measures are in place to ensure the safety of all travelers at high altitudes.

It is mandatory for the applicant to be an Indian citizen and to possess a valid ordinary Indian passport. The passport must remain valid for at least six months as of September 1, 2026.

Additionally, applicants must be between 18 and 70 years of age as of January 1, 2026. Individuals falling outside this age bracket are not eligible to apply. In addition to this, it is absolutely essential that the applicantโ€™s Body Mass Index (BMI) be 25 or less.
