SSC MTS & Havaldar Recruitment 2025 : First and foremost, the Staff Selection Commission has followed the initiation of recruitment for the SSC MTS and Havaldar posts on its web portal. Applications start to fill from June 26, 2025, till July 24, 2025, by 11:00 PM. This recruitment will provide an excellent opportunity to those who have passed Class 10 and want to work in various central departments under a Government job. The commission has released 1,075 posts in Havaldar and in two departments–CBIC and CBN. Even now, however, MTS’s actual vacancies have not been reported and will soon be notified.

Eligibility Criteria

As per eligibility, Class 10 is recognized as the minimum qualification by boards. The age limit for MTS lies between 18 and 25 years, while Havaldar is 18 to 27 years. Various ages would be increased to a candidate from a reserved category as per government rules.

Application Fee Details

Application fees are as follows: All General, OBC, and EWS candidates will require an application fee of 3,000. Application fees are exempted for ex-servicemen, women, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.

Selection Process

The selection method for both posts consists of Computer Based Examination (CBE); however, those who applied for a post of Havaldar have to qualify in both the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). After this part, the candidates will have their documents verified and will go through a medical examination. Dates are proposed for the written examination from September 20, 2025, to October 24, 2025.

Salary and Pay Scale

According to the Pay Level-1, salaries of selected applicants start from ₹18,000 basics, and depending on posting locations, the in-hand monthly salary is likely to be in the range of ₹20,000 to ₹22,000.

One very important date to be remembered also is that the last payment date would also be July 25, 2025, whereas the application correction window will be opened from July 29 to July 31, 2025.
