According to the official notification released by CBSE, a total of 14,967 positions will be recruited. These positions include:

- PGT
- PGT
- Principal
- Non-Teaching Staff
This recruitment is being conducted to address staff shortages in Central and Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country.
Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?
Educational qualifications vary by position:
Eligibility for Teaching Positions (TGT/PGT/Principal)
Graduation/Post-Graduation from a recognised university
With a B.Ed. or M.Ed., mandatory
Eligibility for Non-Teaching Positions
Graduation or Post-Graduation degree
Required skills or experience in the relevant field

Age Limit
The age limits for the positions are as follows:
- Minimum age: 18, 30, or 35 years
- Maximum age: 40, 45, or 50 years
This age limit is determined based on the position.
Age relaxation under reservation
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD: 10 years
Selection Process – Selection will be done in two stages
Candidates will be selected through Tier-1 and Tier-2 exams.
Tier-1 Exam Details
Total Questions: 100
Total Marks: 300
- Time: 2 hours
- Subjects Covered:
- Reasoning
- Numerical Ability
- Computers
- General Awareness
- English
Candidates who qualify in Tier-1 will be called for Tier-2.
Tier-2 Exam
Total Questions: 70
Total Marks: 100
Subjects will vary by post.
After both exams, a merit list will be prepared,,d and appointments will be made based on that.
