The Central Agricultural University has announced a large-scale recruitment drive for various teaching and administrative positions. The total number of positions is 179. The position details are below:
- Director of Instruction – 1 position
- Professor – 15 positions
- Associate Professor – 56 positions
- Assistant Professor – 103 positions
- Chairman – 3 positions
- Dean – 1 position
Eligibility Requirements for Application
Eligibility criteria vary for each position.
Director of Instruction – A doctorate (PhD) in any branch of agricultural science, horticulture, home science, or agricultural engineering is required.
Professor/Associate Professor/Chairman – A PhD in the relevant subject, plus teaching/research experience, is required.
Assistant Professor – Post-graduation in the relevant subject and NET/SLET/SET qualification as per UGC standards.
PhD or experience will be preferred in some subjects.
Dean – A doctorate in the relevant subject is mandatory.
Age Limit
- Assistant Professor: Maximum 40 years
- Associate Professor: Maximum 50 years
- Professor: Maximum 55 years
Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per rules.
