OPPO has sort of quietly pushed out a huge price revision for its premium flagship phone, the OPPO Find X9, across India. Starting from midnight today, both storage variants have been hit with the same price hike of Rs 10,000, no exceptions. This change lands right after OPPO expanded its high-end lineup here, with the recent releases of the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra. As per industry signals, the sharp jump seems mostly tied to rising global component costs, especially memory semiconductor prices, mixed in with logistics disruptions and general supply chain stress.

OPPO Find X9: Old Price vs New Price in India

That Rs 10,000 jump is already showing up across a lot of offline and online retail places like Reliance Digital, but OPPO’s official portal is expected to update the listings entirely, pretty soon.

12GB RAM + 256GB Storage: At first launched at Rs 74,999 , this base variant now sits at Rs 84,999 , after that Rs 10,000 hike that people didn’t quite expect.

16GB RAM + 512GB Storage: The top end model, which was originally introduced at Rs 84,999 , now shows up with a revised price of Rs 94,999 , so yeah it moved up quite directly.

Why Is the Price Going Up?

OPPO is not the only brand adjusting its figures, and honestly it kinda shows. The premium smartphone segment has been heavily hit by these macroeconomic challenges that nobody really asked for. Geopolitical tensions have, at times, forced shipment delays, and global manufacturing shortages have also pushed production costs up across the board. Furthermore with the newly introduced OPPO Find X9s coming in at a starting price of Rs 79,999, the original Find X9 needed a price correction so the pricing hierarchy across the brand’s premium lineup still made sense, you know, in a clean order.

Flagship Features at a Glance

Honestly, even with the steep price increase the OPPO Find X9 still feels like a bit of an absolute powerhouse if you care about elite battery life AND that top-tier photography kind of vibe.

It has a Massive 7,025mAh battery, which is one of the larger silicon-carbon options you’ll see in a standard flagship. And it’s matched with 80W SuperVOOC wired charging, plus 50W AirVOOC wireless fast charging, pretty quick for everyday use.

Camera setup wise , you get the Hasselblad configuration , tuned with premium optics and Hasselblad color science. So the photos come out with that more professional-grade look.

Then there’s the display and durability part. You’re getting a 6.59-inch fluid AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, wrapped in a tough premium chassis, and it’s rated at IP69 for dust and water resistance which is Good.
