For the candidates who dream of working with the Government of India, 61st Cavalry has released a notification for recruitment to Group C SCI posts. The Ministry of Defence, Government of India has issued Recruitment Notification No. 01/2026 for direct recruitment of Group C personnel in 61st Cavalry, Jaipur. Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for the post of SCI. This recruitment is specifically for those who have passed 10th standard and are looking for a government job. The recruitment information has been published in Employment News and the last date for application is 21 days from the date of publication in Employment News, which includes Sundays and public holidays.

Salary
The selected candidates for this post will get a monthly salary of Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 and other allowances as per the Central Government norms. This recruitment will be conducted offline.
Qualification and Age Limit
To apply for this post, candidates must have a 10th class degree from a recognized board. The age limit for Economically Weaker Section is 18 to 25 years, for Other Backward Classes (OBC) 18 to 28 years and for Scheduled Tribes 18 to 30 years. However, as per the government norms, candidates belonging to reserved categories can get relaxation in the age limit up to 35 years.

A total of 12 posts will be filled under this category. The posts have been divided according to the category. Four posts are reserved for Economically Weaker Section, seven for Other Backward Classes and one for Scheduled Tribes.
Selection Process
To get selected for this post, candidates have to go through several steps. First, all the applications will be verified. Then, selection will be made on the basis of class 10 marks. Eligible applicants will be called for a written test. Successful candidates will have to undergo a medical examination and document verification.
