Lok Sabha Speaker: Opposition MPs are deeply upset with the attitude of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. Several opposition parties, including the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, have launched a front against the Speaker. On Tuesday, the opposition submitted a note of no-confidence against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
Earlier, on the 10th day of the session, Question Hour in the Lok Sabha was adjourned. The House reconvened at 11 am, after which the opposition began a ruckus, blaming the government. After a minute, PC Mohan, sitting in the Speaker’s chair, adjourned the House until 12 noon.

The House was then adjourned until 2 pm.
Lok Sabha proceedings resumed at 12 noon, but the opposition MPs continued to create a ruckus. They continued to chant “We want justice.” Seeing the uproar, the Speaker adjourned the House for two hours, until 2 pm. Amid the commotion in Parliament, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, with folded hands, urged the opposition MPs to allow the budget discussion to proceed. “This is harming us all,” he said.

Birla will not be able to conduct Lok Sabha proceedings
The main opposition party in the Lok Sabha, Congress, has moved a no-confidence motion against Speaker Om Birla. The Congress has submitted its notice to the Secretary-General. Birla will no longer be able to conduct Lok Sabha proceedings. This is not the first time a no-confidence motion has been moved in the Lok Sabha to remove a Speaker; three previous notices of no-confidence have been filed against the Speaker. This is the fourth such incident in the history of independent India.
What Akhilesh said in the Lok Sabha
As soon as the Lok Sabha proceedings began, SP President Akhilesh Yadav accused the BJP government of neglecting the backward classes. He asked, “What are you doing for the backward classes? The budget is neither addressing economic nor social inequality.”
There is the most discrimination in their government. Yadav said, “This government only makes empty promises about the Bullet. The Bullet is also a mere slogan. Ayodhya put an end to communal politics. I thank them.”
