The IMD has issued various alerts in various regions of the country. Snowfall warnings have also been issued in hilly states. An alert for thunderstorms and rain has been issued in South India. Meanwhile, increased humidity in Northeast and South India has predicted continued rainfall.

In addition, a warning for rain and thundershowers has been issued for Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. According to weather experts, the combined effect of ocean activity and western disturbances is expected to cause frequent changes in the weather in the coming days.

Temperatures to Rise in Delhi NCR

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Delhi NCR is expected to remain dry for the coming days. Mostly clear skies and bright sunshine are expected. The IMD predicts a steady increase in daytime temperatures, with temperatures expected to reach between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius.

An alert has been issued for temperatures reaching up to 34°C around Holi. A slight haze or smog-like condition is expected in the morning and lateat night. There is no possibility of any rain here. The heat will intensify during the day, and people are expected to experience hot winds in the afternoon.

Know the Weather in Uttar Pradesh

The Meteorological Department has predicted dry and warm weather in Uttar Pradesh for the next 7 days. Maximum temperatures are expected to be 3 to 5 degrees Celsius above normal, making the day feel hot.

Western and central Uttar Pradesh will experience bright sunshine, while nights are expected to remain mildly cool. Meanwhile, the weather in Uttarakhand may also be surprising. The impact of a western disturbance between February 27 and March 2 and 4 may cause light rain in the hilly districts. Snowfall is also predicted in the higher elevations, which could lead to a drop in temperatures.
