UP Weather: Warning of rain and thunderstorm in 40 districts of up, know the details

Rain alert in 40 districts

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain with thunder in 40 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Wind is expected to blow at 40 to 50 kilometres per hour in all these parts. These warnings have been issued for rain with thunderstorms in Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri and Sitapur.

The rain may continue in Barabanki, Ayodhya, Ambedkarnagar, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Ghazipur, Azamgarh and Mau. Rain is also possible in Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar and Maharajganj. An alert has been issued for heavy rain in Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Saharanpur, Bijnor and Moradabad. At the same time, warnings have been issued for rain in Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and adjoining areas.

Relief will be obtained from the drop in temperature.

According to the Meteorological Department, a drop in temperature can be recorded in most areas of Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of a drop of 2-3 degrees Celsius in the maximum temperature during 5 days. No major change is expected in the minimum temperature during the next 5 days. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Uttar Pradesh till May 25.

Along with thunder and lightning, there may be storms with a speed of 40 to 50kilometress per hour. Precautions have been advised given the possibility of lightning.
