Iran rejected Trump’s claim
Just hours after Donald Trump’s claim, Iran’s Foreign Ministry took a different stance. According to Iranian state media, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghei said that no agreement will be signed on Sunday.
According to Iran’s Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Ismail Baghei said that the negotiation process is ongoing, but no immediate agreement can be expected due to the inconsistencies of the other side. He reiterated that there will be no agreement on Sunday, although progress is possible in the coming days.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Friday that the agreement could be signed in the “coming days”. At the same time, a senior American official had also said that the probability of reaching an agreement has reached 80 per cent.
