This occurred when heavy cross-firing erupted between security forces and armed miscreants. One person is reported to have been injured in the firing. According to officials, cross-firing took place between security forces and unknown armed miscreants. Panic spread in the area after the incident. According to reports, at least one civilian was injured in the incident that occurred late on December 16th.

According to residents, 389 internally displaced persons from 67 families were recently resettled in the Phougakchao Ikhai and Torbung areas at the government’s instructions. It is being reported that the situation deteriorated due to opposition or dissatisfaction with the resettlement process.
