IAF aircraft AN-32 crashes:– An AN-32 transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) has crashed at Jorhat Air Force Station in Assam. Five soldiers were martyred in the accident. The Air Force has confirmed this. According to information provided by the Indian Air Force, the accident occurred when the AN-32 was trying to land at the Jorhat airfield. According to IAF officials, the Indian Air Force’s AN-32 aircraft crashed just inside the premises of the Air Force station.
The plane was also on fire immediately after the crash. Emergency response teams were rushed to the scene as soon as news of the crash came to light, and are working to contain the fire and control the situation.
