New Delhi: After spending 18 days in the International Space Station, Indian-origin astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla has stepped onto the Earth. He became the second Indian to do so. His Dragon spacecraft splashed out in the sea of California. This is making every Indian proud.

Along with Shubhanshu Shukla, other astronauts of the Axiom-4 mission have also returned safely to the ground. His spacecraft has been scheduled to land in San Diego, California, at 3 pm on Tuesday. This is also considered to be a big achievement for him. PM Narendra Modi has congratulated the astronaut on his return and welcomed him.

PM Modi congratulated

After returning from the space station, PM Narendra Modi congratulated him for his historic journey. PM Narendra Modi said that I welcome Shubhanshu Shukla along with the whole country. Who has successfully returned to Earth from his historic space mission?

He further said that Shubhanshu Shukla has inspired a billion people with his dedication, courage and spirit of exploration. With this, we have taken a step forward in the direction of Gaganyaan. Shukla has returned from the Dragon Grace spacecraft. It was separated from the International Space Station at 4:45 pm on Monday.

Everyone is very happy with the safe return of Shubhanshu Shukla from the space station. Along with him are Mission Commander Peggy Whitson, Poland’s Slavoj Ujnanski-Wisniewski and Hungary’s Tibor Kapu.
