Dheeraj Kumar Passes Away: Veteran actor and filmmaker Dheeraj Kumar, a stalwart of the Hindi film industry, has passed away at the age of 79. It is being said that he was suffering from acute pneumonia. He was immediately admitted to the hospital when his health deteriorated on Tuesday morning, but the doctors could not save him.

According to Dheeraj Kumar’s family, he was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to pneumonia. He was kept on ventilator support in the ICU in the hospital. However, despite the doctors’ efforts, he could not be saved. Dheeraj Kumar was a renowned actor, producer, and director in the Hindi film industry.

Dheeraj Kumar entered the entertainment industry in the year 1965. He was a finalist of a talent show, in which Subhash Ghai and Rajesh Khanna were also present with him. Rajesh Khanna became the winner of that show. He worked in 21 Punjabi films between 1970 and 1984. After this, he worked in many Bollywood movies like ‘Heera Panna’, ‘Raaton Ka Raja’, ‘Sargam’, ‘Bahrupiya’, ‘Roti Kapda’.

Apart from acting in films, he also did a lot of good work in the TV world. He has given popular shows like ‘Om Namah Shivay’, ‘Kahaan Gaye Wo Log’, ‘Adalat’, ‘Maika’. Dheeraj Kumar also started the production company ‘Creative Eye’. He was the chairman and managing director of the company.
