Monsoon Alert: February is now in its final stages, with winter poised to take its final step. Except for the mountains, the cold has subsided in the plains of North India. Amidst the steadily rising temperatures, people are now beginning to feel the heat. From the capital Delhi to Western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and other areas, the weather is beginning to feel hot. But did you know that the weather is about to change once again?
A low-pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal. Its effects can be gradually felt across the country. Rain accompanied by lightning and thunder is predicted in various areas of South India. Rain Warning in These States
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a warning for heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning has been issued in 10 states between February 22nd and 24th. These include Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, which may also experience heavy rainfall.

The IMD has also issued an alert for heavy rainfall in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Telangana. Damage from lightning and strong winds has also been predicted in many areas.
Delhi NCR Weather
According to the IMD, the weather in Delhi NCR is expected to remain clear for the time being. No rain is forecast for the next few days. The Meteorological Department has predicted bright sunshine during the day.
A mild heat wave is expected in the afternoon. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 28 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature around 14 degrees Celsius. A mA mild chill is expected in the morning and late at night, especially in open areas. Cool breezes are expected.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to be most active in South Tamil Nadu, with indications of continued rainfall in several districts. The IMD has issued an alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms in Kanyakumari, Tuticorin, Tenkasi, Virudhunagar, and Theni.
Lightning and strong winds are also expected in many areas. A rough sea alert has been issued for coastal areas. Fishermen have therefore been advised not to venture into the sea.

Strong winds and high waves are expected in coastal areas. Fishermen fishing from boats have been advised to stay away from coastal areas. The high speed of the waves has also raised the possibility ofa boat capsizing.
