Monsoon Forecast: – Monsoon has become active again in the whole country for the last few days. Heavy rains are being reported in most states of India. Due to heavy rains, life is being affected in some states. Due to the continuous rains, the problems faced by the people of Mumbai have increased significantly. Torrential rains have created havoc in many parts of the country. On the other hand, a scene of devastation is unfolding due to a cloudburst in the hilly states. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy to hefty rains in some states for the next 48 hours.

Rain warning in these states

According to the IMD, an alert has been issued regarding heavy rains in many other states, including Goa, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, during the next 7 days. According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of heavy rain has been issued for Konkan and Goa, the Ghat area of Madhya Pradesh, and the Gujarat region on August 19. Apart from this, hefty rains are expected from August 19 to 20. Heavy rain is expected in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Odisha during the next two days.

Yellow alert issued in Himachal-Uttarakhand

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain till August 22 for about 20 districts of Himachal Pradesh, including Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Chamba, Kangra, and Kullu. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for rain in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Dehradun, and Nainital in Uttarakhand.

Weather conditions in Delhi NCR

The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in some areas of Delhi NCR till August 21. According to IMD, thunderstorms are expected in Delhi on August 22, 23 and 24.

Weather conditions in UP-Bihar

According to the Meteorological Department, intense sunlight and humid heat are expected to persist in Uttar Pradesh until August 21. At the same time, light rain is expected in some areas of western UP. According to the IMD, heavy rains are expected to occur in many districts of UP after August 21. The Meteorological Department estimates that light to moderate rains are also likely in Bihar.
