GATE 2026 Result: Candidates who appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 are eagerly awaiting their results. However, the wait for these students is set to end very shortly. Today—March 19, 2026—the GATE 2026 results will be released. IIT Guwahati has announced the result date on its official website. Although no specific time has been fixed for the release, the results are typically published by the afternoon or evening.

Once the results are declared, candidates will be able to download their scorecards. The official website is gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The results for all candidates will be made available for download on the official website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Candidates can check their results using credentials such as their Roll Number and Date of Birth.

Details Included in the Scorecard
The scorecard will contain details such as the student’s name, parents’ names, GATE 2026 score, date of examination, category, All India Rank, and other relevant information.

GATE Cut-off
Along with the results, separate ‘cut-off’ marks for each subject (paper) will also be released today. Only those students whose scores exceed the cut-off marks applicable to their respective categories will be considered successful in this examination. A GATE scorecard remains valid for 3 years from the date of result declaration.

When was the GATE 2026 Exam Held?
The GATE 2026 examination was conducted in two shifts each on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026.

How to Check GATE 2026 Result Via Online?

  1. Must Visit the official website: gate2026.iitg.ac.in
  2. Click the result link on the website’s homepage.
  3. Enter the enrollment ID and password.
  4. Click on the submit button.
  5. GATE 2026 results will be displayed on your screen.
  6. Download the scorecard and take a printout for future use.

How to Check the GATE 2026 Final Answer Key

Visit the official website: gate2026.iitg.ac.in
Open the Candidate Login Portal (GOAPS).
Enter your Enrollment ID and Password.
Click on the ‘Submit’ button.
The GATE 2026 Answer Key will appear on your screen.
Download the answer key and print it out.
